Tonight,
as I stand in the middle of incomplete us,
I hear the leaves whisper;
They tell me about-
the million sunsets that faded
and the one that lived.
That one sunset in my heart,
which I have
lighted forever.
They tell me about-
How I've been burning in water and
How I never loved you,
drowning in flame.
I lived you.
And I stand there
moon collapse,
while the ocean stills and
into ten thousand fragments of me,
which you could never love;
Or, you just pretend not to?
and I, on our meeting bridge
Tonight,
"Only the moon
alone, growing cold"
by knowing-
Every me is longing you;
Longing us.
as I stand in the middle of incomplete us,
I hear the leaves whisper;
They tell me about-
the million sunsets that faded
and the one that lived.
That one sunset in my heart,
which I have
lighted forever.
They tell me about-
How I've been burning in water and
How I never loved you,
drowning in flame.
I lived you.
And I stand there
moon collapse,
while the ocean stills and
into ten thousand fragments of me,
which you could never love;
Or, you just pretend not to?
and I, on our meeting bridge
Tonight,
"Only the moon
alone, growing cold"
by knowing-
Every me is longing you;
Longing us.
